Kemin Food Technologies Names DKSH as Distributor in Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia

Kemin Industries has appointed Diethelm Keller Siber Hegner (DKSH) as distributor for Kemin Food Technologies in Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia. The global ingredient manufacturer says that the partnership with DKSH will provide a foundation to expand its presence and improve its service in these emerging Asian markets. Kemin Food Technologies offers a range of products, including plant-based extracts, antioxidants, and antimicrobials, as well as technical support, to help manufacturers address shelf-life and food safety issues. “Food is a necessity, so not only does Kemin address today’s needs, but we anticipate tomorrow’s food issues to help food manufacturers maintain the quality of their products, keeping food safer and fresher for longer,” said Michelle Lim, president of Kemin Food Technologies – Asia. “Our extensive knowledge of oxidation processes and understanding of food products on a molecular level feeds our pursuit of quality solutions, which allows us to help reduce food waste and contribute to food security.” With its new partnership, Kemin says it will be able to bring its global expertise to bear in these markets, while its customers will also benefit from access to DKSH facilities, including a food innovation centre in Thailand and a food application lab in Vietnam. DKSH will have ‘technically competent’ local salespeople on the ground, backed by Kemin’s support and products. At the end of last year, Kemin Industries opened a new Innovation and Technology Center at its regional headquarters in Zhuhai, China, marking a CNY 100 million ($14.2 million) investment in the company’s R&D capabilities in the country.
